I got this Rituals body moisturiser in my February Glossy Box and love it! It’s is cherry blossom and rice milk which is gorgeous. It soaks in so quickly which is good for on the go however I feel like the soft skin doesn’t last as long as most moisturisers. However I would definitely recommend having this for quick application for refreshed skin! - Rosalind x

Just a quick post guys to let you know how amazing I think these products are! Barry M have to be one of my favourite make up brands ever! These lipgloss smell gorgeous, better than any lip product I’ve seen, from left to right: chocolate, strawberry, cherry and bubblegum. The cherry has to be my favourite and they all have a glittery sheen to them. Shade 2 (chocolate) is a glittery nude, shade 9 is a red glitter gloss much like their red glitter nail polish and the glossy tube in shade 6 is a shocking pink with ultraviolet glitter. Unfortunately I got the strawberry smelling one in a gift set so it doesn’t have a name but it is a pastel glittery pink. I will definitely be completing my set with the other remaining colours! - Rosalind x

YouTube!

So I’ve been thinking of making a YouTube channel so that I can do some hauls and my newly found Glossy Box openings. Let me know what you think! - Rosalind x

Something I have never thought exfoliate is my lips, but thanks to Lush I’m glad I did! Bubblegum lip scrub refreshes your lips if you’ve forgotten to use lip balm for a couple of days in this horrible English winter. It’s smells just like Snow Fairy and is made from sugar and Jojoba oil. I highly recommend this if you haven’t tried it already. - Rosalind x

Another Lush Christmas product is this star bath bubble stick. I don’t know the name as it didn’t come in the original packaging, sorry! I love this as I can get about 8 baths out of it because there are so many bubbles! The stick makes it easily reusable and I love the little bell idea to make it even cuter. The scent goes very well with Snow Fairy but like Fun, it isn’t as sickly. For a relaxing bath, put it on your Christmas list early! - Rosalind x

I get this Snow Fairy body wash every Christmas and I love it! If you’re not into very sweet things this wouldn’t be great, but when you’ve had a stressful day and need some uplifting , this glittery body wash is just the thing. Unfortunately it is only available at Christmas, but I thought I’d let you know about it for your Christmas lists next year ;)! - Rosalind x

Hey guys! I know I haven’t posted for ages but with Christmas and exams I’ve had no spare time. I have a few minutes now to update on a few Lush things I got for Christmas! Okay, so first up is a new product from Lush called Fun. This is a play dough type bath product which is said to be able to be used for body, hair, bubbles and even clothes. I love the smell of this pink one (also available in green and other colours) it’s a very sweet smell like their Snow Fairy products but not as sickly. A for using it for hair, it doesn’t lather up but goes into a kind of milk on your skin so I can’t see it doing your hair any good, just breaking into squishy clumps…not great! So really, I’d love this as a bath wash if I didn’t know the description as I don’t think it lives up to its name and for this reason I wouldn’t repurchase, however if you’re looking for a milky body wash that smells great and is fun to play with, you should definitely try it out! - Rosalind x

Glitter nail polish!

When applying glitter nail polish as a single coat, I find that putting a layer of normal nail polish on first that is the same colour of the glitter polish is a big help. This means you don’t need to keep layering the glitter polish as they can be quite thin when using as a colour on their own. Also they are a lot easier to get off as there isn’t as much polish to get through! - Rosalind x

I finally got round to using my MUA Constellations nail beads that I was so looking forward to using. Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed as they did not turn out how I liked and frankly more ended up in the carpet than on me! Anyway, I started by painting my nails in a matching colour (it was really old so I don’t have the name but I think it was Avon). Then I added a thick layer to the nail I wanted to stick the beads to. I suggest this is done on an outer finger rather than the index or thumb nail as these are used most and the beads may easily come off. I poured beads onto my nail, and the floor…Tidied these up by pushing them around with a nail file then added more nail polish and repeated this process on the patches that were missed. When this had dried I covered with clear nail polish to make the style last longer. However the colour came out of some of the beads as I did this which was disappointing. I tidied up the edges with a cotton bud soaked in nail varnish remover and voila! The reasons I am disappointed may be because I am only a novice, but I thought the point of these high street beauty products were that amateurs could use them? - Rosalind x

This was recommended to my after I complained I hated waiting in the bath for my conditioner to work on my hair. Even though I use this product though, I still use normal conditioner! Umberto Giannini Leave In Conditioner smells lovely and really helps my tangled hair be managed if I spray some in before I brushed. I’ve found a noticeable difference in the softness of my hair and the condition it is in on the ends. If you’re as impatient as me, I would seriously advise this as a must have! - Rosalind x
